Just wanted to post a few pics of Sprite, my month old ARES, he is feeding well, but I would like to increase his rate of growth, He is eating 6 reptomin sticks twice a day, any suggestions, i just got back from college and know my parents wern't feeding him as often as I do, i want to ensure he puts on a little more weight so i'll feel more comfortable. Atleast the 2" mark to be safe, more pics of him and his house in the Gallery.

Not sure about your current condions but i believe warmer water will help speed up the growing process.

Speeding up the growth causes long term problems such as pyramiding and eventually shorter lifer span. With a turtle that is already known to not have a high survival rate I wouldn't recommend doing this. I feed mine at that age every other day   Two pellets or whatever I think would fit in there head. The other days I put greens and cuttlebone in. Increasing the water temp will only make them shed more. Not only that but it normally keeps them from basking. You only raise water temperature when the turtle is sick.

I did have the following turtles but they went to a new home
2 Red Ear Sliders, 1 Eastern Box Turtle, 1 Russian Tortoise, 1 Yellow Belly Slider, and a Midland Paint.

I currently keep 2 Yearling Eastern Box Turtles.
