Reb or blue lights at night?

I’ve been reading that some reptiles don’t see red or blue lights, or it doesn’t bother them much at night.

I was thinking about setting up some dim LED’s above the tank, either red or blue kinda thinking red would be cool. This way I can see my turtle (RES) at night. However I don’t want to disturb her so I’m just wondering if anyone else has done this or knows much about it?
