I have a 10gal tank with texas map turtle and it has been getting cold.  What would be the right heater for me?
It seems to not be eating as much and thought that heating the water would help.

any heater should work fine, no need to empty the wallet on "top of the line" heater.

like said b4 you are gonna need a bigger tank once he's bigger then a inch.

To answer your question, a 50 watt should do just fine for a 10 gallon. You will be up buying before long with a 10 gallon tank. Good Luck b.
