hey everyone, ok as u prolly know i have a 7 year old eastern spiny softshell turtle... he has been in a rubbermaid tub and i am being forced to get a glass tank... i am going friday... please help... im getting a breeder because he needs shallow water and a lot of space.... i need help on what kind of filter... i know to put sand in it... and i am getting a new ramp for him.. anything else.. and is there any cheap plant i can get to put in there just for decoration... would kinda like live plant... help if u can... and any other small animal that could be put in with him and help me i would love to know about... please help! -Madison

a FLUVAL 4 PLUS is a very good filter for a little fish buy about four or five comet goldfish he'll eat two to three and will leave the three other goldfish alone at least that is what I did and he has not touched them for two years

hey thanx, i got a 33 liter tank, but its the size of a sofa table.. its BIG!!! but i got that and the waterfall turtle filter.. everyone cross ure fingers that it will work well for me... i am fixing it right now.. im sooo soo excited... thanx about the lil comet goldfish, i might try it in a couple weeks, im going to see what he thinks of his new tank 1st... i gotta fill it full of water and i still got a few more things to buy but am out of cash for a little while:< but thanx again!

ha yea he loves it! he is soo active since i put him in, its the shorter tank though, the breeder or whatever so i got it for $90.00 woo hoo

hey i was going to let u know i bought 3 comets yesterday, the turtle looked at me like i was nuts for putting them in there but he hasnt bothered them.. :> i cant imagine ppl feeding them.. i think they're cute! they love the long tank to swim around in! haha but i just letting u know im now a happy owner of 3 comets (Alvin Simon and Theodore) i now have 10 big babys, haha!
