RES w/ Pleco

I recently bought a pleco for my turtle tank. I thought it would be a good idea since they could keep the aquarium a little bit cleaner, but is it safe to put a baby pleco with my 2 baby RES?

Its hard to say exactly what they will do. We have two 6" pleco's in the tank with three RES. One of the pleco's have been with them since they were babies; they dont bother either one of them.
We did get another pleco though, they left it alone for about 2 months and then one day one of them ate it. So its hard to say what they will do.....

at some exotic pet stores you can get extremly large plecos, i got one thats about 18 inches long. my turts dont dare mess with him. i think he cost about 15 bucks. he been in there for over a year now and he sure does keep the tank clean lol

I had a pleco and it just died I seen him all dead and was gonna take him out but ate dinner first since i didn't want to get all fishy first and the turtles had started to feast on him. Between the turtles and the cichlids they picked his bones clean in a few days. I took the skull out, it was all that was left. But when he was alive they never messed with him.

my turtle seems to go for the medium sized fish. the small ones are too quick and... well.... small for her, and ive never had extremely large fish in there so i dont know her reaction to those.
