Hi everyone, i noticed that i didnt see my red belly in a while. It turns out that My Rio Grande, which is about 3 inches bigger then him, ate him. I saw My Rio tearing him up at the bottom of the tank  Angry. Why is this?

Unfortunately that happens which is why its better to keep bigger turtles seperated from the smaller ones.

I did have the following turtles but they went to a new home
2 Red Ear Sliders, 1 Eastern Box Turtle, 1 Russian Tortoise, 1 Yellow Belly Slider, and a Midland Paint.

I currently keep 2 Yearling Eastern Box Turtles.

Yes i should have thought of that. But the worst thing is i ordered a baby Rio Grande and they shipped me one that was a minimum of 3 or 3.5 inches.
